Your Contribution


As an Engineering Intern you will work in collaboration with the Instrumentation team.


Your Main Responsibilities Will Be


  • Delivery of noise and vibration services to the construction related sites
  • Providing pre-construction surveys prior to the commencement of construction to record the existing conditions of buildings and structures.
  • Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules
  • Using remote noise and vibration data to draft factual monitoring reports and come to conclusions;
  • Conduct site visits and provide acoustical and vibration testing prior to the commencement of construction activities to establish background limits;
  • Provide on-site noise and vibration monitoring to ensure compliance with noise and vibration governing regulations;
  • Coordination with clients and subcontractors
  • Compile technical reports


Your Profile


  • Has a valid provincial driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
  • Has a bachelor of applied scien ce (civil, geotechnical, geophysical, or geological) or other applicable degree in an engineering-, environmental-, or technology-based field or other applicable diploma;
  • This is an entry level position, we are looking for EITs or technicians with sound technical writing skills, who are willing to learn about the field of construction monitoring.
  • Consistently executing prescribed technical procedures, safe work practices and work plans in a safe, efficient manner
