Process Engineering Manager Jobs

COTTAGE COUNTRY PROCESS ENGINEERING MANAGER

• Minimum of 5 years manufacturing (Automotive) experience

• Strong working knowledge of Process Flow, Control Plan, PFMEA, Statistical Process, and Machine Controls

• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models

• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacturing and distribution of goods

• Ability to analyze information and evaluate results to problem solve and chose best solutions

• Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment, include cost estimates and equipment layout

• Create Standard Word documentation such as Work Instructions, Operator Inspection Sheets, Standard Work Flow Diagrams, etc.

• Assist in the creation, maintenance and review of FMEAs and Control Plans

• Perform root cause and failure analysis, as required

• Implement Robust Corrective actions through equipment improvement

• Hands On –not want to sit at desk

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Process preferred)

• 5 – 10 years of work experience in the industry

• Project Management skills and experience

• Knowledge and/or experience in PFMEA techniques.

• Knowledge and/or experience in Lean Manufacturing Techniques.

• Experience of participation in a product development team from inception to manufacturing launch including evidence of the imposition of DFM/A into the design.

• Knowledge of the requirements of TS16949 and ISO14001.

• Knowledge and execution experience of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flow.
