This position will provide engineering support to development projects that are in the Front End Engineering Design (pre-FEED and FEED) phase, typically with an estimated capital spend in excess of $50MM. You will assist and lead in developing scope, budget and estimates to move projects from idea phase to execution phase.

What You Will Do

• Learn industry standard methodologies for Front End Engineering Design (FEED) efforts in Major Projects organization's projects and work within the Enbridge Project Lifecycle Gating Procedure (PLGC).
• Apply engineering theory and judgment in the context of Projects from idea phase to Gate 2, provide support for development of scope, estimate and schedule.
• Work collaboratively within the Project Development team of engineers, and technologists, and support resources to ensure objectives of scope, cost, quality and scheduling are met.
• Develop and Deliver Presentations to MP leaders and management to influence the direction of projects.
• Collect and analyze data to contribute to hydraulic or other technical requirements to support development of project.

Who You Are

• Engineering degree from accredited University.
• Registered as a Professional Engineering or eligible to register with APEGA if you reside in Canada.
• 4 years of work experience post-graduation.
• Behaves consistently with integrity and respect.

• Operates in the strictest confidence.
• Adapts well to changing environments and situations.
• Clear thinker and effective communicator, both written and oral.

Physical Requirements Include But Are Not Limited To
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
