Your Impact

In this role, the successful candidate will assemble, test, troubleshoot and repair monitoring devices utilized by power utilities, heavy industry and electrical transmission & distribution operations worldwide

Here’s where you’ll demonstrate your proficiencies:

• Assist in the preparation and assembly of instruments, cables, components, as demand requires.
• Inspect soldering of circuit boards. Testing of circuit boards & Instrumentation/Products.
• Participates in Troubleshooting meetings and helps to maintain Repair PCB Board levels.
• Ensure quality of products at all levels.
• Create required drawings, schematics, assembly and test procedures
• Ensure that the work instructions are accurate and well maintained.
• High Voltage Testing of Components and Instrumentation.
• Complete manufacturing assembly tasks per required specification
• Carry out the trouble-shooting/repair of “out of specification” products.
• Ensures OTD (On Time Delivery) of Products Manufactured

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• Ability to read electronic schematics
• General mechanical aptitude/assembly experience is an asset.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Read and understand drawing and assembly procedures.
• Use of standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMM’s and signal generators.
• Minimum 2 Year College Diploma
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, excel outlook ETC)

Preferred Skills:

• 2 Yrs. Post Graduate Electronic Manufacturing/Production experience.
• 2 Yrs. Post Graduate Electronic Troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 2/3 Yrs. Diploma in Electronics Engineering Technician / Technology

Working Conditions:

• Frequently working with 120VAC/240VAC. Working with high voltage > 30kV.
• Occasionally lifting < 50 lbs.
• Production work cell/lab environment
• No travel required in this role.
