We’re looking for an experienced Buyer/Production Manager to help oversee production within our client’s business. This is a management level role where you will manage a small team and maintain new and old relationships with suppliers as well as planning new ranges working with other internal teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

As the Buyer/Production Manager you will report into the founder and ultimately oversee the production of the company’s collections from initial ideas through to market. You will source new suppliers as well as deepening the relationships with existing ones as, negotiating prices and delivery times as well as working closely with the designer to identify new and relevant trends and ideas for products, including attending any relevant trade shows.

You’ll also be responsible for overseeing the critical path schedule and making sure all team members are clear on their roles and responsibilities and work closely with the merchandising team to plan product drops. There will also be a small team made up of an assistant buyer and production co-ordinator that you will manage.

What Experience You’ll Need To Apply

• Computer literate – especially Excel
• Able to work under pressure and maintain strong attention to detail
• Management experience
• At least 5 years in a Buying and/or production management
• Ideally a background in fashion
• Experience of negotiating
• Confident communication with excellent relationship building skills
