Execute complete buying process in line with specified requirements, cost, quality and delivery targets.

7+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the engineering/automation industry.

Minimum 3 years’ experience working with ERP system.

Category buying through category analysis and market intelligence activities for end-to-end value chain optimization.

Review MRP (Material Requirements Planning) Report daily and generate purchase orders to meet production needs

Improve inventory turns, manage and keep all inventories current and up to date

Communicate and escalate delivery issues impacting production in a timely manner

The Junior Buyer will be involved in the entire product life cycle including supply chain management aspect:

3-5 Years’ experience as a junior buyer or in a similar position.

Sharp organization and analytical skills.

Experience with different ERP systems.

Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree in Materials Management, Business Administration or related experience would be considered an asset.

Certificate in purchasing from the Purchasing Management Association of Canada would be an asset Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Follow purchasing procedures to purchase materials and services to meet operational requirements while maintaining accuracy

Required to have strong negotiation, problem-solving & decision making skills

Proven experience to remain organized, and prioritize work effectively.

Research and analyze product and material selection

Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Assist in the creation and management of purchase orders based on internal requisitions and specifications

Up to 2 years of relevant purchasing experience.

Post-secondary education in Purchasing or Supply Chain is an asset.

Experience working in electronic manufacturing is an asset

Perform other duties as assigned by Management

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (Lightning) preferred but not required.

Knowledge in SAP is a bonus

3-5 years of experience in retail buying, preferably within the luxury beauty or fashion sector.

A genuine passion for and strong knowledge of: beauty products, trends, self-care and brands.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to make informed decisions.

At least 5 years in a Buying and/or production management

Confident communication with excellent relationship building skills

Seeking/recording/updating material source of supply and information within the system to streamline future purchases.

Assisting with material information updates and changes.

The Buyer is responsible for providing procurement support including contract development, analysis, and execution critical to production

Implement procedural improvements to streamline business practices and be instrumental in the successful execution of contracts.
