Your new company:

Hays Specialist Recruitment has partnered with a well known company that are looking to hire a Buyer to join their team.

Your new role:

The Buyer is responsible for providing procurement support including contract development, analysis, and execution critical to production

Implement procedural improvements to streamline business practices and be instrumental in the successful execution of contracts.

You will also interact with both operations and support and contract groups throughout our company, gaining knowledge of our mining business.

What you'll need to succeed:

To be successful, we are looking for someone with excellent negotiating, problem solving, and decision-making abilities, who is self-motivated and can work with minimal direction. This person has strong communication and interpersonal skills and can build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external partners. The ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational abilities is vital.

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or College Diploma from an accredited institution with a minimum of three (3) years of progressive buying experience.
