We are currently looking for an extraordinary Technical Buyer who will be engaged in elevating the department to the next level.
Responsibilities

• Secure supply and competitive access to existing and new technology capacities on the market.
• Execute complete buying process in line with specified requirements, cost, quality and delivery targets.
• Identify market trends, adapt to competitive landscape and the dynamics around the supply markets for sound buying strategies and execution plans.
• Category buying through category analysis and market intelligence activities for end-to-end value chain optimization.
• Coordinate with cross functions to ensure the successful launch of new ERP system.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience working with ERP system.
• 7+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the engineering/automation industry.
• Should be familiar with the buying process, category buying, logistics, pricing structures and lead times.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English to effectively communicate technical and non-technical requirements.
• Able to read engineering drawings.
• Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.

Salary: From $80,000.00 per year
