Electrical Apprentice - Vancouver, Bc

At Plan Group, we work on landmark projects that push the boundaries of what's possible, as the Electrical and Technology contractor for the New St. Paul's Hospital project, we are expanding our team and seeking driven Apprentice Electricians to work on-site in Vancouver, BC.
This is an exceptional opportunity for you to acquire hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, working alongside a talented team on a significant project.
Responsibilities
As the successful candidate for this role, you will be responsible for a range of electrical installation activities, including but not limited to

• Follow all required company and prime contractor safety rules and regulations
• Install new wire in existing systems or repair old wiring
• Installing fire alarms, security, lighting controls, data/telecom and energy management systems
• Rough in and finish wiring control systems
• Installing conduits using a hand, mechanical or hydraulic bender
• Mounting panel boards, transformers, switchgear, transfer switches and other types of equipment

To excel in this role, you must be well-versed in all required company and prime contractor safety rules and regulations.
Additionally, You Must Meet The Following Experience Requirements

• Registered Apprentice with ITA or another recognised provincial apprenticeship
• Reliable transportation, whether it be through public transit or a bike route.
• Current WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System)
• Current WAH (Working at Heights)
