– District Manager

The District Manager position works closely with our 3rd party partner resources in the field and is responsible for achieving sales and profitability targets, driving operational excellence, and developing sales staff through recruiting, training, coaching and hands on leadership at the store level. The position is a field sales role that directly supervises Leads Advisors and Mobile Advisors. Additionally, the District Manager is required to ensure the execution of the sales programs of the company and fulfill the district’s sales, operations, and team development objectives. The position requires the incumbent to travel extensively throughout the district to conduct regular store visits.

What You'll Do:

  • Participates in weekly DM meetings or calls as scheduled
  • Reviews district payroll on a weekly basis to ensure accuracy
  • Obtains monthly objectives for each store and leads teams to meet sales and profit targets
  • Ensures operational objectives are met as per company standards
  • Fosters a positive working relationship between The Mobile Shop staff and the Loblaw store employees
  • Aligns district with annual company and sales objectives by driving the company’s mission, vision and values
  • Conducts daily coaching (in person or phone) with Lead Advisors and Mobile Advisors, and completes weekly coaching logs
  • Recruits, trains, and creates succession planning for top talent within the district ensuring optimal talent in stores at all times
  • Leads by example by being a Health and Safety champion in the workplace
  • Monitors the Inventory Management process and reporting
  • Champions the Loss Prevention process to protect the organization and its customers against fraudulent activities
  • Liaises with Home Office on other duties as assigned by Senior Leadership

What You'll Need:

  • University Degree/College Diploma in Business or Finance or equivalent experience
  • Exceptional leadership and team development skills
  • Minimum 3 -5 years of leadership and management experience in multi unit
  • Extensive travel required throughout the district; valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to manage multiple groups and priorities in a vigorous sales environment
  • Strong creative, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to produce desired results by motivating and building an engaged team
  • Wireless Telecom experience considered a strong asset
  • Preferred knowledge of wireless markets (wireless retail experience preferred)
