Overview
The Director of Sales, Business Applications and Cloud Services will lead a team of Cloud Services Executives in achieving exponential growth for our Business Applications and Cloud Services portfolio. The position will focus on the development of go-to-market plans, pipeline development strategies and bookings growth. The Director of Sales, Business Applications and Cloud Services will be directly responsible for leading a team of Cloud Services Executives working closely with our Field, Practice, Services team members along with our Cloud OEM partners to drive sales. Areas of focus include but are not limited to: Team Leadership, Business Development, customer positioning, execution, OEM partner strategic relationships and sales of our Cloud Services, including Advisory, Professional, Managed Services and Cloud resell portfolio offers.

  • Directs overall team selling activity
  • Ensures strong, effective market share of the products and services by providing direction and information on the products and related services
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with key customers at the executive level/Economic Buyers, leveraging highly effective communication skills
  • Keeps well informed and educates team on industry changes, participates where possible in organizations directly involved with our primary markets, and continually works to improve sales techniques and sales knowledge
  • Expedites the resolution of customer problems/complaints
  • Keeps EVP of Cloud and Managed Services informed of economic, customer/competition situations, customer’s business issues and interests, and generate a strategy that will achieve business objectives
  • Manages sales reps to be successful with all service offerings from all C1’s Cloud business partners
  • Develops and maintains technical competency in all Business Applications and Cloud Services related offers through ConvergeOne
  • Develops a Business Plan for area of responsibility that is consistent with short-range and long-range company objectives
  • Maximizes Cloud Service Experts results through constant feedback and joint customer meetings
  • Uses partnership programs to support winning customer engagements
  • Keeps advised on company policies, procedures, and objectives, clarifying them with EVP of Cloud and Managed Services when and if questions arise, and is always prepared to accurately discuss these policies to our customers
  • Prepares sales forecasts, budgets, quotas, and other projections on a monthly basis
  • Manages, trains, advises, and motivates sales associates to their full potential
  • Analyzes sales records and trends in relation to objectives and competitive activities; takes or recommends necessary corrective action to EVP Cloud and Managed Services
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Strong working relationships with multiple Cloud OEMs.
  • Credible communicator with successful interactions at all audience levels.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies, best practices and ability to maximize our portfolio.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of sales leadership experience inclusive of Cloud Services sales.
  • Proven management, communication and sales leadership experience in Cloud Services sales.
  • Broad understanding of the Complex Solution Services design and selling.
  • Powerful negotiation and persuasive skills coupled with good analytical ability.
  • Bachelor’s degree (Business or Engineering preferred) or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent customer interfacing skills with ability to help clients identity current /future needs.
  • Creative visionary adept at offering hybrid cloud solutions that are competitive in the marketplace.
  • Strong work ethic with commitment to ‘start with Yes’ mentality.

Pay Range
$90,000 - $190,000
Base pay ranges are estimated. Actual base pay will be based on education, experience, location, certifications, skill set, and any other relevant factors. Incentive/variable pay opportunities are in addition to base pay.
