Position Summary:
As the Director of Ecommerce, you are responsible for executing a strategy to drive online growth and profitability. You will innovate and test to optimize revenue and conversion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in customer experience, strategy, and branding, including website development, eCommerce platforms, mobile applications, and other web-based initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze and triage customers and cohorts to unlock greater revenue and LTV per customer
• Develop and manage KPIs, analyze performance, implement actionable recommendations
• Obsess about web analytics to drive customer conversion and increase repeat frequency and AOV
• Align resources and hit sales targets through daily execution
• Provide weekly project updates alongside key sales & marketing metrics
• Develop and oversee the effective planning, QA, and execution of content across the websites
• Implement SEO and SEM best practices and implement a test, learn, and deploy process.
• Generate and implement new sales and marketing campaigns to increase glasses sales and profitability
• Optimize the UX to improve the shopping experience including site navigation, product promotion, content development, and checkout to remove friction and drive higher conversions.
• Work with creative and partnership teams to develop and test content, influencers, and native campaigns to drive eCommerce transactions.
• Own the eCommerce P&L
Requirements:
• Passionate, hardworking, smart, and goal-oriented
• Desire to roll up your sleeves and dive deep into the data
• Strong commercial abilities with the ability to define problems, analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to complex problems
• Outstanding analytical skills, strong experience interpreting test results and drawing conclusions
• Extensive knowledge of SEO (technical, on and off page), SEM
• Proven execution of large eCommerce projects, including re-platform experience
• Performance marketing experience and knowledge of best practices for SEO, PPC, affiliate, e-mail, and social commerce.
• Experience with utilizing marketing technology including, but not limited to digital communications for transactional and engagement functions, including acquisition and retargeting
• Experience with GA4, Tag manager, studio, Google Ads, Blogging and social media and social paid ads
• Has exceptional written and verbal communication skills
