About Covenant House Vancouver

Since 1997, Covenant House Vancouver has provided relentless support for youth experiencing, or at-risk of experiencing, homelessness. We provide support to young people age 16 to 24 who have experienced a wide range of early life and ongoing, complex trauma; including physical, sexual and emotional abuse and neglect. Our purpose is to serve all youth, with absolute respect and unconditional love, to help youth experiencing homelessness, and provide a safe and supportive environment for all youth in need.

The Impact A Director, Clinical Services And Complex Care With Covenant House Vancouver Can Make:

The Director, Clinical Services and Complex Care provides supervision and direction for all day-to-day operations within the Social Work & Clinical Services Team and Complex Care Programming. Working closely with the Chief Program Officer, this position ensures that services are delivered in compliance with agency policies and procedures. The Director, Clinical Services and Complex Care participates in community initiatives and agency wide projects.This role assumes shared responsibility of all program areas in the absence of the Chief Program Officer.

How You Will Contribute:

• Responsible for monitoring program services in accordance with established outcome measures and key performance indicators
• Represent the agency at public functions and activities as assigned
• Attend to community relations and partnerships in relation to program services
• Provide input into the development of the program goals, objectives, policies, long range planning, strategies for future development
• Oversee preparation and maintain related budget activity
• Provide staff with direction, coaching and training in supervision related processes including formal, informal, developmental, disciplinary and performance appraisals
• Directly supervise the Program Services managers of Social Work & Clinical Services and Complex Care.
• Perform duties and responsibilities of Child Protection Officer
• Participate in the identification of service gaps and the development of new initiatives to address service gaps
• Review responses to critical incidents and emergency procedures

Who We Are Looking For?

Education and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years direct experience in a supervisory/managerial leadership role
• Masters of Social Work preferred, or related Social Service/Program or combination of education and related experience

The starting salary range for this position is $90,854.40 to $113,568.00 annually and full benefits will apply after 3 months of employment.
