Job Description

Reporting to the Administrator the Lynn Valley Care Center. This eco-friendly LTC home is looking for a professional health care director to join their team with a view of meeting the vision, mission and quality of care goals of the Center. The ideal Director is experienced in Long Term Care and is seasoned enough to provide leadership and management within an accredited environment promoting an interdisciplinary approach to a resident-centered model of care.The focus will be to optimize continuous quality improvement utilizing evidence-based best practice.


For the Director to be successful, we are looking for the following qualifications:

·A 3-5 years experience in Long Term Care Nursing with some managerial experience.

·Current Registration with CRNBC.

·Demonstrated Leadership ability with comprehensive knowledge of nursing and health care techniques related to Long Term Care.

·Ability to bring innovative thinking and continuous improvement mindset while able to work within the governing practices of the Centre.
