As the RN Director of Care, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the nursing department, ensuring the highest standards of resident-centred, compassionate care is provided to the seniors that call this place home. You will also be involved in planning, budgeting, staffing, and evaluating the nursing services. You will work closely with other departments and professionals to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the facility.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A valid nursing and CPR certification
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• In-depth knowledge of legal policies and regulations in (LTC / AL) seniors housing
• Diploma or Degree in Nursing
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills
• Eligible for Registered Nurse registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
