Primary Purpose
University of Niagara Falls Canada is looking to hire an experienced and versatile Digital Marketing Manager to join our in-house Marketing and Communications team.
Our ideal candidate will help develop, implement, track and optimize our digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels to support lead generation efforts.
You should have a strong grasp of current digital marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution. Digital Marketing Manager will work with various stakeholders and internal teams to launch campaigns on time and on budget.
The ideal candidate for this position has a positive attitude, a tireless work ethic, impeccable attention to detail and an appetite for growth.
Specific Responsibilities
- Create email templates. Create and implement marketing email campaigns. Conduct A/B testing.
- Researching ways to penetrate new markets
- Identifies critical conversion points and drop off points and optimizes user funnels.
- Assist with planning and executing a marketing email strategy.
- Assist with quality control to ensure brand consistency.
- Evaluate competitors.
- Develops digital marketing staff by providing educational opportunities and experiential growth opportunities.
- Plan and execute various digital marketing campaigns through various channels including PPC, Paid Social, Affiliate and SEO.
- Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
- Continue to improve CPLs and conversion rates.
- Collaborate with various internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Continuously improve internal processes and procedures for better efficiency
- Support the day-to-day management of the website
- Identify trends and insights in digital marketing. Test new campaigns and explore new paid and organic channels. Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies Overview
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against KPIs and ROI.
- Keep track of the budget and optimize the spend.
- Assist with other day-to-day marketing activities as needed.
- Create landing pages and web forms and optimize user experience
Position Requirements
Competencies
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Proven experience developing and executing complex marketing plans and campaigns
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, and display advertising campaigns
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
- The ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Impeccable attention to detail.
- Strong project management, multitasking, and problem-solving ability
- Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, processing figures with spreadsheets and reporting on the campaign results. Being able to derive meaning from data through A/B testing and email optimization.
- Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of GDPR and CASL legislation
Education ad Experience
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience working in digital marketing
- Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools (eg. Salesforce)
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or related field
- Past experience working in higher education sector is a plus
- Will require to work occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends
