Qualifications - Formal Education and Training:
College degree/diploma in Business Management or Supply Chain Logistics, or secondary degree, commercial education
Occupational Experience:
1 -to 3 years’ experience in scheduling and/or customer service area
Additional Preferred Knowledge Requirements:
Proficient with Microsoft applications. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong organizational skills.
Customer Service orientated, Team Player, Reliable, Structured thinking and communication.
NAFTA documentation experience/training
Scheduling and customs experience
Responsibilities
1.Communication - Serves as first point of contact for designated customers.Maintains relationships with internal and external customers.
2.Customer forecasts and orders processing - Maintains data of customer forecasts, monitors, and analyzes data, informs Supply Chain Manager/Sales Manager in case of deviations. Creates customer orders and confirms orders in a timely manner.Monitors orders proactively and informs customers and supply chain team if commitments cannot be met.Clarifies order related questions.
3.Customer complaints - Handles customer complaints in cooperation with the relevant department, ensures their completion in due time, prepares credit vouchers, or initiates appropriate replacement deliveries after consultation with Master Scheduler.
4.Planning Shipments - Build ship plan in conjunction with Master Scheduler and communicate to Logistics Supervisor.
5.Deliveries - Monitors the compliance of delivery dates, delivery quantities and special agreements with the customer. Informs Master Scheduler or the customer directly about delivery date changes in due time.
6.Order verification and entry - Verifies customer inquiries for completeness and correctness. Clarifies inconsistencies with customers. Calculates prices. Keys in data regarding customer inquiries and forwards order confirmations to dispatch and customers.
7.Order processing - Prepares order confirmations. Controls delivery notes and monitors delivery dates. Keeps in touch with customers regarding delivery status of inquiries and informs about conceivable delays as soon as possible. Prepares invoices, shipping instructions and shipping orders.
8.Customer Inquiry - Answers customer inquiries regarding delivery date and quantity.Delegates all other inquiries to the appropriate department.
