Customer Service And Sales Assistant

Our client, a leading importer of women's clothing, is looking for a bright and outgoing Customer Service and Sales Assistant to join their growing team! The candidate should be motivated, organized and goal oriented, with strong customer service skills and outside sales experience.
The candidate will foster existing relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for all customer inquiries. The candidate will also be responsible for helping in prospecting, communicating and executing sales strategies.
The ideal candidate will have client relationship building and outside sales experience.
Responsibilities

• Prospect for new accounts, identify, implement and report on new business opportunities
• Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions
• Build, establish, and maintain customer relationships to grow sales
• Manage and attend industry trade shows
• Communicate with customers (retail and web) by answering general requests, processing orders and return authorization requests in a timely and courteous fashion.
• Schedule and coordinate up to 120 events per season
• Analyze customer needs for additional sales opportunities

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer service within the apparel industry,
• Overtime required as necessary
• Occasional travel required
