About the Role

As the Credit Manager you will hold an important role in managing Huron Tractor’s credit processes. While managing the credit processes your duties will encompass; credit evaluation, and risk management, collections and dispute resolution, relationship management, compliance and reporting, as well as leading and supervising the accounts payable, and accounts receivable team.

Some examples of activities you will be involved with:

·Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers by analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant information.

·Monitor and review customer credit accounts regularly to identify potential risks or opportunities for credit limit adjustments.

·Develop and implement credit risk management strategies and policies.

·Identify and analyze trends and patterns related to credit risk and provide recommendations for mitigating potential risks.

·Communicate with customers to resolve payment issues, negotiate payment plans, and resolve disputes.

·Manage the end-to-end process of invoice processing, including reviewing, coding, and verifying invoices for accuracy and completeness.

·Lead and supervise a team of accounts payable, accounts receivable and administrative professionals.

What We Are Looking For

·Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

·Proven experience as a credit manager or in a similar credit management role.

·Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment, financial analysis, and credit evaluation techniques.

·Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

·Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

·Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
