(Can) Manager, Credit Card Acquisition

Position Summary...The Manager of Credit Card Acquisition will report into the Director, Financial Services and will be a key part of the Banking and Financial Services Team. This role will be focused on interacting with our current banking partners (Fairstone Financial) and acting as their liaison within Walmart, while also ensuring our banking partner initiatives are aligned with our aggressive Financial Services expansion plans. You will work with the Walmart Rewards MasterCard (WRMC) and Fairstone teams to grow the WRMC rewards business, which includes developing and leading programs to acquire new cardholders both in-store and digitally, increasing activation rates, and engaging our cardholders with relevant offers. You will bring expertise in financial services customer acquisition, campaign design, and marketing tactics. Your expertise will help us acquire, grow and engage our growing cardholder base.
What You'll Do...
Key Accountability/Responsibility
20% of Time: Work collaboratively with Financial Services leadership and banking partners to align FS&P business goals with scaling our transformation plan
25% of Time: Work with the Walmart Rewards MasterCard (WRMC) and Fairstone teams to grow the WRMC rewards business
10% of Time: Provide thought leadership and expertise in financial services customer acquisition, campaign design, and marketing tactics.
10% of Time: Build client-ready, compelling content and reports for senior executive steering sessions
5% of Time: Manage acquisition marketing budget to ensure cost per new account is within acceptable thresholds
5% of Time: Develop collaborative relationships with banking partners and act as a liaison within Walmart
20% of Time: Facilitate communication, decision-making and issue resolution as required for new and existing acquisition/engagement campaigns for the WRMC
5% of Time:Keep up-to-date on competitive offers in the industry and products in the omni-channel landscape; turn this research into actionable recommendations to meeting portfolio KPI’s
Qualifications

• Financial and Marketing/Communications acumen required
• Undergraduate university degree required; post-graduate degree preferred
• Retail and/ or Financial Services industry experience required
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in a relevant field
