Job Description
What You’ll Do


The Application Delivery Manager, Credit Card Operations is responsible for managing the delivery of Canadian Tire Bank (CTB) and Canadian Tire Financial Services (CTFS) initiatives into TSYS (credit card provider), Acxiom (data warehouse provider) and Financial Systems Partners, ensuring quality, flexible, cost-effective solutions are provided from these critical vendors in the operations. The position manages the day-to-day operations support of the third-party vendors including consulting on capabilities of our platforms.


  • Management of vendor costs, budget preparation, variance analysis, and invoice processing and reconciliation
  • Lead the management of the day-to-day relationship between CTB/CTFS and our Critical Third-Party Vendors (TSYS, ACXIOM, TGT)
  • Participate in ongoing audits and assessments related to the vendors and infrastructure in support of the operational processes
  • Build cross functional relationships within the organization as well as with external partners to delivery on the CTB/CTFS Strategy
  • Escalations of critical issues to the vendors
  • First point of contact for lifeblood system production issues including after hours support
  • Collaborate and act as the liaison between the business and the Third-Party vendors to enable business outcomes
  • Development of team
  • Management and monitoring of vendor SLA’s, system stability and performance of the vendor systems
  • Knowledge building of processes and methodology across the organization
  • Leading a team of Business and Data analysts
  • Contractual management including negotiations
  • Vendor assessments, DR and BCP planning and participation
  • Provide leadership to various project teams, business partners and vendors
  • Identify changes in processes from the third-party vendors and the impact to CTB/CTFS operations working collaboratively across the organization to implement new processes where necessary
  • Enable new processes that support our strategy
  • Identify opportunities to reduce complexity and improve overall systems and processes
  • Provide technical expertise to key areas of the organization
  • Actively consult in support of new initiatives that impact TSYS and Acxiom processing acting as the point of contact with the vendor including issue management and escalations


What You Bring


  • Driven to provide leadership and direction towards accomplishing goals
  • Demonstrated experience with thought leadership and implementation of creative ideas that drive business results
  • 7+ years of experience leading a team, fostering teamwork and team dynamics and ability to get work done through others
  • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong attention to detail and follow through to resolve any outstanding issues
  • Ability to plan and prioritize multiple activities and deliverables
  • Project Management experience with demonstrated experience in leading complex initiatives involving data migration and platform upgrades
  • Technical experience in managing third party vendors (TSYS) and infrastructure
  • 7+ years of experience managing third party relationships with a preference for experience in credit card operations and/or data management
  • Robust communication skills, with experience developing and executing change and communication plans
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Agile experience. Skilled at navigating through agile methodologies and processes with third party delivery
  • University degree in Computer Science or relevant experience
  • An excellent communicator, with the ability to engage, influence, inspire partners to drive collaboration and alignment
  • Always questioning the status quo and looking for ways to work more effectively, and for better ways of solving technical problems
  • Open to a mindset of test and learn, a bias for action, a passion to innovate and a willingness to learn
  • Azure Cloud experience is nice to have
