THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The Credit Manager will work directly with the finance leadership team and work on managing all things credit and risk. With a supportive team this individual will manage all of the credit applications, manage credit limits and will work with collections on liens and small claims court processes. They will manage invoices and payments as well as monthly statements on risk preparations and analysis on credit aspects. This role will supervise a Credit Assistant and manage all of the vendors and contractors the company works with. The role will grow and develop internally managing and hiring new people to add to this team as the department grows further.

The Credit Manager will have the following qualifications;

• Bachelor Degree/Accounting/Finance
• Highly detailed and organized and experience completing projects from beginning to end
• Experience implementing accounting systems and policies
• CPA or CA Designation
• 5+ year's experience in an Accounting and/or Finance position within Canada as a Credit Assistant/Manager
• 5+ years' of commercial lending experience
• Strong experience working with a team and in a very fast paced and demanding environment
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
