The Cost Control Specialist is responsible for analyzing and monitoring company expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness and budget compliance. This role requires an analytical mindset and the ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to management.
Responsibilities

• Collaborate with departments to ensure cost-effective decision-making
• Prepare and present cost reports to management
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to budget and expense management
• Conduct cost analysis and provide cost control strategies
• Monitor expenses and compare to budget projections
• Identify cost savings opportunities and implement cost-saving measures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial analysis principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• 3+ years of experience in cost control or related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and budgeting software
