Position Summary
Based out of Avalon Mall, the Coordinator, Marketing is responsible for providing support in the development and delivery of retail marketing strategies. Additional duties of the Marketing Coordinator include but are not limited to:
- Collaborates with the Leasing Manager to develop creative strategies to lease office & storage space including supporting miscellaneous revenue opportunities such as specialty and temporary leasing.
- Other special projects and tasks as assigned by the General Manager.
- Creates, manages, and develops content and communications on Avalon Mall social media.
- Organizes and provides ownership over tenant meetings and plans throughout the year.
- Assists with the management of customer satisfaction and retention programs.
- Assists with the implementation and execution of exciting new brands, by ensuring that voice and language of content on all communication mediums are consistent, overall tone and quality are appropriate, and the brand language and position are reflected.
- Provides support for marketing and branding initiatives at the Avalon Mall.
- Leverages community events and partnerships with strategic partners to enhance customer relations, assisting with social events and volunteer opportunities for Crombie employees as required.
- Manages signage space in pedways and parkades.
- Works with key stakeholders to support Avalon Mall promotional events driving retail sales.
- Reviews and/or draft memos/communications prior to distribution.
The profile we are looking for
Our ideal candidate will have 2-5 years marketing and or business administration experience; prior experience managing social media platforms is considered an asset. A post-secondary education in Business Administration or Marketing and/or equivalent combination of education and related experience is preferred, however all individuals demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with exceptional customer service skills and a desire for continuous learning will be considered. Superior communication skills, both verbally and in writing as well as ability to manage concurrent projects and meet deadlines are a must. The successful candidate must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks as well as be able to build upon existing relationships both internally and externally.
