Co-Op/Intern HR Coordinator

Job location: Ottawa, Canada or Remote, Canada

Term length: PART-TIME 12 months starting September 2023

What you will do

• Support Onboarding Specialist, Benefits Specialist & Global Mobility Specialist
• Employee filing
• May perform additional projects upon request
• Assist employees with HR-related inquiries
• Employee letter creation
• Perform a range of HR transactional/administrative tasks such as new hire and onboarding administration, management of background checks and benefits enrolment
• Create and update employee files in HR document management system
• Work with other HR team members to shadow and learn about the different roles
• Support HR Core team with HRIS data validation and entries

What we are looking for

• Effective communication skills; both verbal and written
• Strong initiative
• Currently enrolled in a Human Resources, Business, or related program
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
