Contracts Manager - Required for our client to join their specialist Civil Engineering contracting business. The Contracts Manager will be working on prestigious projects covering North East, Yorkshire and Humber areas. With only the best quality and time efficiency in mind, their expertise covers many forms of civil engineering, groundworks, customer care and external works.

The successful Site Manager will be a driven individual with extensive experience within drainage. Working on section S104, S38, S278. The successful candidate must be happy with working across North East, Yorkshire and Humber areas. Experience in leading teams and ensuring all tasks are completed on time.

Contracts Manager Position Overview

• Manage traditional, design & build or target cost contracts from initial tender/ target agreement through to final account agreement.
• Promote a culture of integration, continuous improvement and use of best practice.
• Develop effective relationships with the clients to maximise the perception & reputation of the business and secure profitable work.
• Being the first point of reference for leadership site issues
• Ensure forecasts are reflective of the current scope of work
• Liaise with the Senior QS (Quantity Surveyor), Site QS and Project/Site Manager.
• Management of subcontractors and suppliers
• Ensure production, review, and monitor the delivery of the project/site health, safety, environment & quality plans.
• Taking responsibility for a contract at handover from the estimator
• Plan & monitor resource requirements
• Produce monthly reports

Contracts Manager Position Requirements

• Full driving licence
• Results Focused
• CSCS card Manager
• HSE (Health and Safety Executive) legislation knowledge
• First Aid
• BSc/BEng in Civil Engineering or NVQ L6/7 in Construction Site Management
• Temporary Works Coordinator
• Knowledge tender quality submissions & PQQ.
• Civil Engineering experience
