Civil Engineer / Project Manager

Align Engineering Ltd. is an employee owned and operated civil engineering firm providing professional engineering consulting services in municipal design & construction and transportation engineering & planning.

The ideal candidate will have local experience working as a civil engineer, contract administrator and project manager on municipal and/or land development projects. They should have experience with performing design calculations in the water, wastewater, and stormwater fields. By utilizing strong organizational and communication skills, this candidate will also have the ability to work directly with clients and provide excellent service.

The position will be based out of the candidates home office which must be located in the Central Okanagan. ALIGN offers competitive compensation and extended benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Municipal engineering design
• Project management - Manage projects from concept through construction
• Manage project budgets
• Contract Administration
• Client Communication
• Produce technical calculations, memos and reports

Qualifications:

• Experience with construction inspection and contract administration
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Experience with Civil3D is preferred
• Registered with Engineers and Geoscientists BC
• 7+ years of civil engineering experience related to municipal and land development engineering consulting
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills and design skills
