A Partner Manager Sales profile involves working closely with external partners or resellers in Canada to help them sell and promote the company's products or services. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with partners, identifying opportunities for growth, and developing sales strategies to increase revenue. Overall, this role requires strong communication, relationship-building, and sales skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams to achieve business objectives
What you'll do:
  • Collaborating with other departments such as marketing and product development to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and strategy
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key partners to ensure they are motivated and engaged in selling the company's products or services
  • Analyzing partner performance and market trends to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies
  • Providing product training and support to partners to ensure they have the knowledge and tools needed to effectively sell the company's products or services
  • Identifying new partner opportunities, evaluating potential partners, and negotiating partnerships to expand the company's reach
  • Developing and executing sales plans to meet or exceed sales goals and collaborating with partners to achieve those goals
What you need to succeed:
  • Excellent business acumen and relationship skills
  • 4-6 years of successful sales / marketing experience (at or above plan)
  • Excellent presentation skills as well as written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to grasp technical product knowledge
  • Post-secondary or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work multiple priorities and deliver on deadlines
  • Demonstrated successful sales management experience
  • Ability to think creatively when developing solutions
