Business Integration Analyst

Pival is currently looking for a dynamic individual to join our growing I.T team and work with both our internal and external customers.

We are looking for someone with experience in managing EDI and WMS integration projects.

• Develop integration flows using available PiVAL integration platforms or extend the integration platform capability using programming languages like Java, C# etc.
• Collaborate with our vendors as required and contribute to product ownership for the integration applications.
• Share acquired skills and business/system knowledge with team members through formal and informal channels.
• Identify potential EDI process efficiency improvements and implement changes.
• Analyze, design and document business requirements and solutions for system integration and determine the appropriate development design for the PiVAL environment.
• Develop quality assurance procedures and error handling.
• Research new technologies, trends, and tools that are relevant to the integration space.
• Manage EDI and WMS integration projects with customers.
• Act as a key contributor in troubleshooting reported problems with the E3PL application, identifying the required mitigation activity, and collaborating to restore expected application behavior.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience documenting EDI processes
• Demonstrated experience managing and delivering WMS integrations, data warehouse solutions and business intelligence solutions
• Experience in dealing with relational databases and writing advanced SQL scripts
• Experience with OpenText ECS/Delta integration platform is an asset.
• A working knowledge of the following technologies and security standards, including EDI, VAN, SFTP, AS2 etc.
• Experience with common integration styles and protocols such as: SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, CSV, etc.
• 3 years experience in software development or application integration
