Job Description

Summary: The Integration Architect ensures Concurrent client implementations are delivered with customers critical business and technical goals and outcomes as our guide. This role is responsible for all aspects of technical solutioning and delivering on agreed client business value.


At concurrent our Integration Architect’s must:

  • Be able to prepare elegant and visually appealing technical requirement documents.
  • Be insanely good at communications, both written and verbal!
  • Have a touch (OK a lot) of OCD when it comes to making sure our solutions drive specific and agreed upon business outcomes for our customers
  • Be voted most likely to translate technical jargon to non-technical clients :)
  • Love leveraging a diverse tech stack to engineer elegant and cohesive solutions!
  • Be adept at listening / interpreting desired client business outcomes and translating those goals into technical solutions that produce the client’s desired results.
  • Love interacting with developers, clients, process experts, and APIs every day :)
  • Be able to easily navigate between business and technical conversations
  • LOVE seeing your elegant technical solutions drive significant value for our clients (Ka-ching!)
  • Thrive working in a virtual environment and effectively leverage comms tools.


DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES


Plan – Define & Design:

  • Produce efficient field-level data migration strategy and plan to ensure seamless transition of critical client data
  • Create detailed client-facing delivery/build plan with level-of-effort estimations, timeline/schedule, and sequenced work plan with dependencies defined
  • Ability to solve for gaps that cannot be delivered through standard platform configuration or customization.
  • Document and advise field-level master data model and detail integration strategy to ensure integrity of integrated records/transactions across platforms
  • Create technical requirements documents to confirm client solution (signoff) and guide internal detailed design artifacts
  • Translate client business requirements into a set of platform-based and API-level integration design technical artifacts (Jira + Confluence + Miro)


Build – Configure & Customize:

  • Lead technical discussions and work sessions with clients/vendors and translate hard to understand technical topics into consumable and actionable conversations for all parties.
  • Lead scrum-of-scrum stand-ups across multiple technical teams (when required)
  • Work with internal product team to incorporate product implementation feedback into standard concurrent core integration solutions / connectors
  • Drive backlog prioritization and align sprint schedules across solution components to meet interim checkpoints and client-facing milestones/demos
  • Lead custom integration/software development & 3 rd party COTS integrations

Deliver – Validate & Deploy

  • Lead internal validation of final solution for functionality and performance (QA)
  • Lead deployment of technical solutions from develop to production environments
  • Create and deliver artifacts necessary for informing ongoing client operations
  • Create storyline and final presentation/demo of technical solution to client


REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of stakeholders; mobilize and motivate teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; deliver tough messages with diplomacy; execute with limited information and ambiguity
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to influence executives to developers
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with design documentation creation (Miro, Lucid chart, Confluence, Jira, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of common API/data standards (REST, JSON, SOAP, XML, etc)
  • Strong capability in Javascript is a must, Python is ideal, and SuiteScript nice to have
  • Fundamental understanding of agile software development methodologies & tools
  • A proactive approach to client problem-solving with strong decision-making and presentation skills. MUST be second nature to interpret and contextualize client ASKs into actionable insights which will inform our solution designs
  • Requires 4+ years of experience as an application or integration architect or similar role.
  • Requires 3+ years of experience working in and integrating with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, etc…)
  • Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, while having fun! :)
  • Expertise (and ability to learn) iPaaS solutions like Tray.io (preferred) , Dell Boomi, Celigo
  • Experience engineering synchronous and asynchronous systems w/message queuing
