Engineering Professional – Paint Integration

You will be part of a very dynamic integrated team involving all technical and operations functions, where you will drive to put forward optimal solutions to meet operational & customer needs. You will work with suppliers on projects related to paint and externals markings on the Global 5500/6500/7500.

In your role, you will:

• Support Program Change Requests (PCR). Coordinate technical integration meetings, analyze, and define technical proposals to meet customer and operation needs.
• Transform customer demands into feasible and realistic engineering content.
• Be in direct contact with suppliers and be responsible for the delivery of quality engineering documentation that meets Bombardier Standards.
• Collaborate with different internal parties (Operations, Detailed Design, Projects, Programs, Technical, etc.) as well as suppliers on daily basis.
• Evaluate effort levels for engineering deliverables.
• Coordinate planning with supplier and internal stakeholder.
• Participate in Design reviews and have a good understanding and interpretation of regulatory and industry requirements.
• Ensure engineering package meet technical and certification requirements.
• Act as the technical specialist for paint and external marking.

As our ideal candidate,

• You have a college or University mechanical or aerospace engineering degree or equivalent with a minimum of three (3) to eight (8) years of relevant experience
• You have good communication skills including good English writing skills, and good English and French verbal skills.
• You have the understanding of product structure and relational modeling
• You are well organized and are project oriented
• You have solid experience working with Enovia/VPM Nav and Catia (GSD, Assy, Part Design, Drafting, etc.)
• You must be a self-motivated person, a team player able to work under pressure and under a minimum of supervision.
• You have relevant technical experience in interior completion; experience on Global Platform and Paint Design or Integration is an asset
• You also demonstrate an excellent track record of meeting your commitments with success.
• You have the ability to understand complex engineering issues and are innovative in problem solving.
