5+ years of relevant work experience

Experience supporting manufacture, including disposition of hardware non-conformances.

Experience and familiarity with the application of OESC and CSA standards

Manage scope of the work package ensuring requirements are clear and bounded and desired results are documented.

Participate in the management of Risks of Opportunities throughout the lifecycle of the project.

Issue the engineering status reports to Project Management.

Providing day-to-day technical direction to dedicated employees on your project, and supports performance management activities throughout the year.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent education with relevant experience.

Technical/Specialized knowledge: experience with electronic systems.

Knowledge and/or Experience on Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) systems.

You have knowledge with the specification, design, integration, test and certification of Avionics systems on aircraft.

Write, Conduct or Witness development and certification tests on the aircraft and/or on rigs.

Manage, review and approve the engineering deliverables of the Avionics System Suppliers.

Liaise with Certifying Authorities and/or support their delegates in achieving system certification.

You have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the field.

The candidate will work in close coordination with the Testing & Commissioning Manager.

Develop detailed scope catalogue for all projects and manage interface with other delivery units

Reviews changes in incoming/emerging standards and corporate requirements to provide program level input on potential impacts to existing projects

Coordinates technical issues with other areas of the Organisation that may include constructability/operational requirements and technical reviews

In conjunction with the delivery team, develop and maintain the project execution plans

Devises new approaches to solving problems, including root cause analysis

You are Conversant with design, qualification and certification test requirements of Avionics & Electrical systems

You possess strong integration skills, in both system partner management and system technical integration

You are Familiar with Part 25 certification requirements and advisory material.

Review functional test requirements and ensure engineering translation into mature functional tests

You have experience in providing engineering support to a Final Line/ Production

You have Strong communication skills, ability to work well in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

Participate in management meetings and organize departmental governance.

Communicate effectively and support decisions and messages to and from management

Manage the Engineering Statement of Work

Manage the engineering budget and spend for the department

You have knowledge of design tools

You have knowledge of MRB

Strong knowledge of multiple Avionics Systems (5 years minimum experience)

Knowledge and/or Experience on Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) systems.

You have knowledge with the specification, design, integration, test and certification of Avionics systems on aircraft.

Manage, review and approve the engineering deliverables of the Avionics System Suppliers.

Liaise with Certifying Authorities and/or support their delegates in achieving system certification.

You have strong communication skills (verbal and written).

Ensure engineering package meet technical and certification requirements.

Participate in Design reviews and have a good understanding and interpretation of regulatory and industry requirements.

You have relevant technical experience in interior completion; experience on Global Platform and Paint Design or Integration is an asset

You have solid experience working with Enovia/VPM Nav and Catia (GSD, Assy, Part Design, Drafting, etc.)

You have good communication skills including good English writing skills, and good English and French verbal skills.

Act as the technical specialist for paint and external marking.
