Building Manager Required – Residential Rental Buildings
A reputable multi-family residential rental property owner-manager company requires a full time Building Manager for three rental buildings totaling 76 units in close proximity. The buildings are no pets, no smoking, and family friendly. The location is New Westminster.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
● Rent collection
● Advertising suites for rental
● Showing suites for rental
● Tenant screening and background checks
● Coordinating move in / move out
● Overseeing suite turnover
● Managing renovations
● Overseeing and implementing evictions
● Completing online tenancy agreements and other forms
● General tenant administration
● Bank deposits
● Communicating with and directing trades people
● Computer work with Google online documents (Google Sheets, word processing), Gmail, RentSync and Pen.do online property management software
Type of Work:
Building Manager for three rental buildings in close proximity. Full time. Must have flexible schedule and be available to manage tenant turnover and suite rentals on weekends or evenings. Must have a very positive attitude and strong commitment to quality work. The Building Manager will have maintenance help / support from maintenance/renovation and cleaning staff. Small on-site office is available for work space. Work-from-home is an option when not showing suites or attending to duties requiring you to be onsite.
Required:
Very good computer skills with Google Docs (word processing and Google Sheets) and Gmail. Good working knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act. 2+ years experience. Excellent English and communication skills.
