About the Team:
Our Maintenance team is small, but mighty!We pride ourselves in ensuring our facilities are safe, clean, and organized.You will work closely with several Warehouse Managers to ensure all buildings in Richmond and Delta are well maintained and clean.You’ll enjoy the fast pace of work at CDS along with an overall sense of teamwork and fun!
What You’ll Do:
- Ensure the preventative maintenance program is followed.
- Schedule and supervise service work of material handling equipment.
- Prioritize all maintenance tickets and projects to ensure maintenance targets are met and quality standards are adhered to, report progress to the Warehouse Managers.
- Coordinate all aspects of regular maintenance, building improvements and repairs.
- Make recommendations for repairs, replacements, or upgrades to be reviewed with the Warehouse Managers.
- Supervise and provide direction and support to the Maintenance team and foster a highly effective working relationship with all employees.
Who You Are:
- High Proficiency in MS Office.
- 3+ years of related and/or Supervisory experience.
- Diploma or post-secondary education with Technical Certificate (Electrician, Material Handling Equipment Mechanic, HVAC / Refrigeration Technician) preferred.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Knowledge and/or experience in warehousing, mechanical, electrical and refrigeration is considered an asset.
- Able to pass criminal background check.
- Available to work the hours required to meet the needs of the business.
