The Group is active in all segments of the aerospace industry (commercial, regional, business and military aircraft), in two areas of activity: Aerostructures and Interconnection Systems. The Group employs over 5,000 people in 15 countries.
In November 2022, Latecoere completed the acquisition of Canadian-domiciled Avcorp Industries, becoming Latecoere’s Aerostructures Canadian unit.
Program Manager – Defense:
The Program Manager – Defense, is responsible for the overall direction, performance, corrective actions and product improvement plans for the assigned Programs. They are responsible for leading a multi-functional team in the execution and delivery of objectives while contributing closely with leadership to ensure alignment to business direction and strategy.
Summary:
Primary Customer Interface
· Focal point for customer demand/inquiries and ensuring communication and response back to customers
· Organize, prepare et coordinate customer reviews
· Manage Program Risks and Opportunities
· Coordinate risk and opportunity analysis with multi functional team
· Manage corresponding action and or mitigation plans
Ensure Change Management
· Drive impact analysis from multi functional team
· Consolidate findings/data to enable decision making
· Negotiate strategy and conditions towards implementing modifications
· Prepare analysis and detailed costs elements to support commercial proposals
· Consolidate costs and schedule data
· Track and report on progress of implementing the modification
Manage Program improvements plans
· Analyze program performance (quality, costs, …)
· Identify corrective action or product improvement plans and the associated benefits
· Coordinate multi functional team towards executing the action plans towards achieving the targeted performance objectives
Hold Monthly Program reviews
· Report to corresponding stakeholders on Program health (Costs, Customer Metrics ….)
· Report on Improvement Plans and identify problem areas

Qualification Profile:
· 10 or more years of experience in a Program Manager role with 5 plus years in a leadership role preferably in the Aerospace industry.
· Education in aerospace Technical specifications or Engineering or an equivalent demonstrated experience.
· Knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles and processes for material management improvement would be an asset
· Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR)
· Ability to effectively select, develop, coach, empower and motivate staff to ensure growth in their scope of responsibility and accountability for operational excellence
· Ability to lead change and utilize operational metrics/key indicators for process control, communication, and performance improvement
· Ability to manage multiple, complex projects and changing priorities; work extended hours when required, make sound decisions under pressure, and work effectively in a global environment
· Proven Computer skills: Microsoft suite of applications
· Ability to undergo security clearance process for export controls: CGD, ITAR.
· Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
