IAA, Inc., a leading provider of loss recovery services to the insurance industry in Canada, has an opening for a Branch Supervisor at our branch location in Paradise, NL

The Branch Supervisor drives overall performance and operations for an assigned branch. This position is responsible for supporting branch planned profitability, sales, and customer service levels. The role interacts with all levels of staff and departments within IAA and is responsible for maintaining a safe and positive work environment by supervising and mentoring local staff. The Branch Supervisor supervises all office employees and at times depending on the branch size, may also supervise the yard employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve branch-level employee issues and team issues.
• Design more efficient ways of processing work
• Collaborate effectively with various internal departments including HR, Corporate teams, and the Sales/Remarketing groups.
• Actively enforce company policy, reporting or responding appropriately to all violations or reports of violations.
• Ensuring compliance with operational standards
• Create and maintain strong relationships with external customers/vendors including Insurance Companies, Towing Vendors & Buyers
• Recommend or perform personnel actions such as salary increases, performance reviews, hiring, and disciplinary action.
• Other duties as assigned per business needs.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining a safe, engaged, and positive work environment.

Job Requirements

• Solid customer service skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Clear communication skills
• Basic skills in using the Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Experience or knowledge of insurance, automobile or parts industries, and general mechanical knowledge would be considered an asset.
• Ability to function well as part of a team.
• Proficient in time management
• 2+ years of Supervisory experience
• Positive and professional attitude
