Our busy distribution branch in Sudbury, ON requires an AZ Truck Driver to make deliveries to our customers and job sites while providing great customer service. As a branch driver, you will be required to exert physical effort and handling of heavy products, but we promise to give you lots of time to regroup with an awesome work-life balance! When not on deliveries, you will be a valued member of our warehouse team, helping with the accurate shipping and receiving of product.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload product using the appropriate equipment.
• Know our customers. Greet and assist them in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Know our product and your route. We value our customer(s) time – we get it right the first time.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education/Experience/Skill

• Experience in a warehouse environment an asset
• High school education required
• Valid AZ drivers license required
• Able to read and write word and letter/number sequences

Behavioural Disposition

• High compliance with standards, requirements, and processes. You’ll come to work and give us your best each day
• Emotional intelligence that facilitates respectful and courteous interactions with customers and other Gentek employees
• Attentive and detail-oriented

Environment & Physical/Mental Demands

• Must be able to operate material handling equipment
• Distribution branch physical environment: noise, fluctuating temperature due to bay doors being open, constant stimulation of senses (visual, audio distractions)
• Must be able to safely lift 50lbs
