As the Billing Administrator for our Mechanical Service Team, you will gain experience with supporting our Service Managers in an administrative capacity for one of the fastest-growing, multi-trade service companies within the Construction industry. Specifically, we are looking for an organized and methodical individual who is looking to apply the skills and experience they have developed over the course of their career to a FUN and CHALLENGING environment.


Note this position is based out of our Markham Head Office and is considered intermediate skill level with the opportunity to develop into a Project Coordinator role in the future.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handling all the documentation requirements associated with the smooth and successful execution of service calls and small projects
  • Provide administrative coverage for Service Department Coordinators as required
  • Guide the billing process for service calls and small projects
  • Create work order/job numbers and assigns to technicians or subcontractors
  • Being the key point of contact with customers and technicians on small projects and escalating issues to Project Managers as required for all administrative paperwork
  • Promptly produce and submit work orders and invoices to suppliers or subcontractors for assigned jobs
  • Generates and executes infrared and de-energized reports for customers and associated team members, including the Technical Services Coordinator


SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Aptitude for independent problem solving
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Experience with Outlook, Excel and Word
