Principal Purpose of Position:

  • Approves and posts journal entries and check requests.
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Provide timely response to all customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service under all circumstances
  • Supervises the day-to-day functions of the Billing department.
  • Reviews daily NEO NVI report.
  • Supports and mentors the training and development of all departmental employees.
  • Reviews account reconciliations.
  • Reviews the daily workload of the Billing Administrators.
  • Sets up new pricing elements and product codes in the billing system.
  • Attends prospect and start up meetings as necessary.
  • Works with MIS on programming requests, test invoices, retests and any reruns of the bills.
  • Monitors the monthly PIE goal and coordinates monthly PIE meetings.
  • Reviews and assigns profiles and contract information.
  • Monitors monthly billing cycle to insure timely execution.
  • Approves staff time sheets and time off requests.
  • Reviews and approves various types of Fleet Trak cases for billing related items.

Education and/or Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, degree in Accounting or related field a plus.

Relevant Work Experience:

  • Capable of learning new systems, knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Business Objects is a plus.
  • Experience in an accounting or billing role is strongly preferred, prior leadership experience is a plus.

Planning/Organizing/Managerial Knowledge:

  • Must have a solid background in and understanding of accounting principles.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and make appropriate decisions
  • Ability to supervise, motivate, coach/counsel and objectively evaluate employees and their performance
  • Advanced computer skills are required.

Communicating & Influencing Skills:

  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Ability to interact and work with employees at all levels in the organization
