The Canadian DoorDash Customer Growth team is looking for a hands-on builder and leader to play a pivotal role in building differentiated consumer experiences, focusing on the core restaurant business. About The Role

The Strategy & Operations Associate role is for self-motivated, curious, and ownership minded individuals who enjoy creating positive consumer experiences leveraging both art and science, thriving on solving complex problems using both data and empathy, collaborating across the organization, and executing to bring strategies to life.

You will report into our Strategy & Operations Associate Manager on our Customer Growth team. We expect this role to be hybrid with some time in-office and some time remote.

• Collaborate - Work with a variety of teams including marketing, merchant, product, engineering, finance and analytics to execute on plans.
• Strategize - Develop DoorDash's path to excellence using first principles & empathy, identify trends that emerge and know when to double down and when to try something new.
• Analyze - Assess the operational and financial impacts of your decisions and iterate given insights. Continuously seek for new improvement that can be made to the experience leveraging performance data.
• Build - You are excited to work on something that hasn't been done before. Your job will include building experiences and launching plans from the ground up.
• Experiment - Use data to run tests on everything from promotional campaigns to new in-app creative assets.

• You are a problem solver and can identify the core problem and determine hypotheses with proposed solutions
• You are comfortable with ambiguity and bring structure, organization, and focus to your work and cross functional teams including product, marketing, finance, and legal
• You are comfortable using SQL to analyze data and create new data tables, are able to build dashboards to track key metrics, and can build high-level financial models
• You thrive both as a generalist and specialist who can build the overarching strategy and dive deep into specific issues & processes to drive continuous improvement
• You have 2+ years of experience in strategy, operations, product, digital marketing, growth, investment banking, consulting or other related areas

Nice to Haves

• You have merchandising / digital marketing experience
• You have experience using Figma to develop creative assets
