Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Brand Manager to support our exciting and fast paced business. The successful candidate will work closely with the Brand Management team supporting the development and execution of our brand strategies, annual activity plans, and new product development activities, and ensure the successful launch & marketing of new products. The role will include supporting Cannabis Operations, Cannabis Retail & Liquor Retail activities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate brand campaigns & promotions working cross functionally with Marketing Channel teams to execute
  • Support Brand Management team with ongoing Brand Health Tracking via various industry sources and reporting back on key performance indicators.
  • Be the key support of the new product development process within the Marketing team, liaising cross-functionally with R&D, operations, and packaging to ensure expectations are met in a timely fashion.
  • Assist in the development of brand strategy and positioning to ensure that it aligns with company goals and objectives
  • Assist in market and competitive analysis to identify consumer trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Sales team to develop sell-in materials for new products and ensure successful product launches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of brand marketing campaigns.
  • Assist with the creation of presentations and materials for internal and external stakeholders


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related fields.
  • Ability to think strategically while also being detail-oriented and able to execute projects efficiently
  • Creative thinker with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent project management, communication and organizational skills, ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • 2-3 years of experience in brand management or related field.
  • Self-starter, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
