Excellent project and people management skills

Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and social change through educational, professional, and volunteer experiences

Lead a team of analysts and communications staff, and manage contractors when required

Manage the BRC advisory board including the quarterly meetings

Manage the BRC’s budget and resourcing needs

Knowledge of the renewable energy sector in Canada, and challenges and opportunities for market-driven renewable energy, both provincially and federally

Provide local HR policy guidance to employees and management

Provide pragmatic, consistent guidance to the management and employees on all aspects of employee relations

Involved in the site management (Business Continuity Management, Floor plan…)

Point of contact for local management (attending management meetings, give updates).

• Competent at researching and presenting information to upper management

HR Manager - Toronto, Canada (Onsite):

• 5+ years of Human Resources experience in Ontario. US experience desired.

• Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook are a must).

• Knowledge of specific HR policies, health insurance, laws and governance in Ontario and Canada

• Understanding of RRSP/TFSA administration

Work experience in high volume and fast paced environment with project management and overseeing multiple initiatives

Previous office management experience would be an asset

Develops and implements performance management programs. Monitors effectiveness of the plan and makes recommendations for changes.

Responsible for HR Operation and Employee Relations functions, including onboarding, compensation and benefits, performance and discipline, HRIS, health and safety, offboarding

Develops, writes and updates HR policies, procedures, and best practices to support the desired organizational strategy, structure, and legal requirements.

Minimum of 7 years’ experience in progressive HR operations and employee relations

Strong knowledge of ITIL and ITSM processes and experience with vendor and staff augmentation with remote service providers

A proven track record of successful collaboration with senior management team across all functions

Identifies business needs to gain alignment between business and technical capabilities.

Develop technology capabilities allowing for data-based decision-making and innovation across XPO as an organization

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience

Extensive experience managing a team of engineers delivering highly available applications and infrastructure solutions

Minimum 8-10 years of experience in nonprofit management, major gift fundraising for a NGO, preferably a global human rights organization.

Strategic planning, change management and/ or project leadership experience.

Legal, compliance, R&D, or financial background with 5-7 years of compliance/pharmaceutical or adjacent industry experience.

Working with ED to provide strategic direction and compliance leadership

Drafting and implementing policies, procedures, SOPs, and relevant compliance guidance, as needed

Establishing compliance governance by co-managing and co-chairing the Canada Compliance Committee and support R&D related committees

Ideally 5 or more years’ experience working in a leadership/managerial role within human resources

Develop and execute effective regulatory strategies for product registration (and life cycle management)

Responsible for local review of risk management plan

Submission and management of procedure for Clinical Trial application (CTA) /Notifications (CTN) plans

Oversee the Drug Establishment License (DEL) updates and renewal to ensure compliance to local Health Authority GMP requirements

Lead local regulatory team to deliver on local responsibilities and deliverables as aligned with business priorities

15-20 years experience in transversal technical functions and/or operational functions (ex : operation manager, plant manager, technical manager…);

Experience in hazardous/industrial waste treatment, industrial wastewater treatment;

Experience in oil or solvent recovery is a strong asset;

Language skills for business in English and French ;

Thinking skills: decision making ability, seasoned judgment;

Skills in leadership, planning, coordination and labor relations;

8+ years’ experience in higher education, business development/sales or relationship management

Self-motivated, self-managed proactive, risk taking, and a very high drive to succeed

Has a minimum of 8 years of experience consulting & designing customer technology solutions.

Has strong sales and business development acumen and experience.

Has a minimum of 10 years of experience working the tech sector along with understanding of Cisco’s Technology Direction/Portfolio.

Brings a creative and innovative mindset with demonstrated experience working in start-up/innovation space

Has strong English communications skills (written and oral, including public speaking (French speaking is an asset).
