Grade twelve (XII) education or equivalent

Working knowledge of parent-child attachment and early childhood development

Knowledge of and ability to link to community resources that support families, parenting, and optimal childhood growth and development

Minimum of 1-year experience working as a Home Visitor

Previous experience working with families with young children

Demonstrated strong interpersonal & communication skills

Able to demonstrate maturity, a positive attitude, and strong conflict management skills

Knowledge of crisis intervention, risk management, family centred, strength based, and solution focused practices/approaches

Experience/knowledge of basic program support (i.e. filing, preapprovals, caseload admission tracking, creating files)

Excellent computer skills (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint ) and data entry

Maintain current CPR/First Aid Safety certification

Knowledge of family dynamics and early childhood development

Experience with social media management and campaign planning.

Excellent organizational and project management skills; ability to successfully set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor, and track progress towards goals.

Manages official Visit Prince Rupert social media channels, website blog content production, promotion, and engagement.

Experience in tourism or related marketing institutions/organizations.

Experience with project planning and report writing.

Plans and executes Tourism Prince Rupert’s annual marketing campaign calendar.

Maintaining good working knowledge of all services, policies, and procedures

Understanding the role and responsibilities of related support functions

In addition, the successful candidate will possess certification in ITIL v3 (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Foundations from a recognized organization.

Ensuring response time and resolution/fulfillment objectives are met

Providing drop-in support to students, employees, suppliers, and guests by providing accurate information

Monitoring, tracking, and communicating incident/request statuses

Volunteer management and / or experience would be an asset to this position

To undertake all duties and responsibilities in compliance with Health and Safety standards, guidelines and legislation

Participate in annual mandatory education as per MOHLTC regulations as well as in-service educational opportunities

Maintain awareness (at all times) of emergency procedures; participate in drills and associated educational opportunities

Point Click Care experience an asset

Certification in Activation Techniques in Gerontology would be an asset

Polysomnography experience considered for this position.

Two years practical and related experience and/or 6 months on the job training required (Willing to train the right candidate).

Strong decision-making skills to identify which cases warrant RN or MD intervention.

• Tourism, Hospitality, and Customer Service experience

• Knowledge of signature landmarks, local hotspots and events within Central Alberta

• Storytelling and communication skills written and verbal

Experience working with seniors and persons with disabilities preferred
