5+ years’ experience in natural gas compression (CNG), process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation design and engineering of equipment.

Experience with compressor package design, piping, electrical and control systems is an asset.

Aptitude and desire for hands-on work combined with strong analytical skills.

Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in program/project management (within the automotive industry)

Impeccable oral and written communication & presentation skills, with the ability to interface with senior management

Ensure to keep management updated on program status and communicate escalations as required

Ensure the strategy (customer requirements /timeline / milestones) is well communicated with stakeholders for alignment and meeting objectives

Monitor and manages all key dates and timing charts as required

Manage information both externally (customer) and internally (Axiom Plastics) as required by each project

Project Management duties including assisting with project planning, engineering and construction of County infrastructure.

The Project Management Professional designation is an asset.

Supports with the preparation of design drawings and reports for new or upgraded County facilities. Manages consultants undertaking projects.

Demonstrated progressive engineering experience with the design of water, wastewater, roads, and bridges.

Knowledge of current standards, relevant legislation, statutes and regulations related to municipal engineering.

Attends meetings and discussions involving area municipalities, Provincial Ministries, Conservation Authorities, and other external agencies.

Minimum of five years’ experience in project management.

Perform Power systems studies such as short-circuit, load flow, coordination, arc flash, cable ampacity, Power Quality and harmonics studies.

Post-secondary education in sales, marketing, advertising or business management is an asset.

Strong preference given to candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.

Two (2) years experience writing and coordinating RFQ and RFP processes in the construction industry.

Proven experience meeting RFQ/RFP deadlines in fast paced, demanding environments.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex technical requirements and develop innovative solutions.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in proposal engineering or a similar role within the energy industry.

Strong knowledge of ISO standards and their application in the energy sector.

Proven experience in developing technical proposals and managing contracts.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with customers.

Knowledge of thermal processes and their application in energy systems.

Demonstrated skill in project management, conducting presentations, communicating and selling ideas and in leading group discussion.

Inspects City buildings for maintenance, repairs or renovation requirements and prepares required documentation.

Establishes, maintains and utilizes a capital planning database to predict facility capital maintenance and replacement requirements.

Manages and reviews the work of engineering and architectural consultants and contractors for capital projects.

Develops and manages projects and budgets.

Manages and maintains the electronic and hard copy drawing database for the Department.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Minimum 5 years of experience in the area of structural engineering.

Experience with preparing CADD drawings in AutoCAD; SolidWorks and FEA experience preferred.

In depth knowledge of the OBC, Ontario Construction and Industrial Regulations.

Outstanding communication skills in English

Working knowledge of worksite safety.

5+ years experience in Management of both projects and a team

Experience working in capital projects

Capable of bringing together initiatives through strong strategizing and problem solving skills

The expected salary is $110K/yr. + bonuses
