Proposal Project Engineer Jobs in Manitoba

Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in program/project management (within the automotive industry)

Impeccable oral and written communication & presentation skills, with the ability to interface with senior management

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Minimum 5 years of experience in the area of structural engineering.

Experience with preparing CADD drawings in AutoCAD; SolidWorks and FEA experience preferred.

In depth knowledge of the OBC, Ontario Construction and Industrial Regulations.

Outstanding communication skills in English

Working knowledge of worksite safety.

At least five years’ experience in project management.

Anticipate and plan for changes in project scope, schedule, or costs. Prepare documentation and obtain management approval.

Implement engineering excellence and enterprise risk management.

Leverage petrochemical project experience and provide appropriate project execution.

At least 10 years of experience with a focus on the refining and petrochemicals businesses

5-10 years combined Project management and mining operations experience

Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Review all project-related studies, reports and engineering documentation;

Coordinate meetings, site activities, and resources including consultants, contractors and employees;

Assist with the selection and procurement of equipment and facilities;

Ensure corporate and site Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures are followed;

Provide risk management and value expertise in the development of the mine's plans.

Expert knowledge and skills in the following software: MS Office Suite, MS Project, Primavera P6.

A project management or equivalent background involving budget development and management would be beneficial.

Review, understand and execute the project contract in good faith for the benefit of all stakeholders.

Ensure that project close out documentation is in compliance with regulatory, Client and Cementation requirements.

Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills.

· Proactively manage changes within the project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

· Manage external human resources such as vendors and contractors.

· Three (3) years experience

A minimum of four (4) years engineering experience.

Someone who has experience developing highly competitive RFP responses and other B2B proposals, working closely with a commercial sales organization?

BS or BA (or equivalent experience)

Prior experience with business and/or creative writing

Experience with presentation software and crafting sales presentations is a plus.
