Knowledge of or familiarity with principal field business management systems: SAP, CMIS, PMIS and Prolog (P.O. and A/P) preferred

Analyzes and effectively communicates financial results of the project to upper level management

Manages the division of responsibilities and communication between various project & home office departments

7 - 10 + years of financial/data analysis experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or an equivalent degree is require

Strong working knowledge of accounting including: general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax

Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management

Inform management on customer needs and business opportunities.

Manage subconsultants including but not limited to their proposals, agreements, invoices, schedules, and deliverables

Review project deliverables to ensure requirements are fulfilled

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Cost

Knowledge of linear infrastructure processes for design and contract administration

Five (5) to 10 years of experience in project controls, project planning, or a related field

Knowledge of Primavera and project scheduling is required

Experience with SAP Project Systems and billing sales orders is required

Knowledge of project flow and critical path activities.

Experience with project execution and project planning – direct experience in water treatment preferred

Able to work in a matrix organization and has proven collaboration skills

Gain experience in product management, testing, training and communication areas

Cultivate understanding of project management and controls tools functionality and how it integrates inside the Hatch ecosystem

Demonstrated experience with vendor management

Prepare consolidated capital cost forecast estimates for the scope under management and coordinate the EPCM forecast across multiple contracts.

Analyze variances in costs and timelines against the plan and communicate reasons for variances and proposed mitigation plans to project management.

Review scope changes, trends and change notices initiated from the project management systems and review their time and cost implications.

Understand the principles of Earned Value management and performance metrics.

Responsible for overseeing cost and schedule for the scope managed on the Client’s behalf across multiple contracts with the Client.

Have a minimum of 15-20 years of total experience.

Assists with IT Portfolio Management processes

3-5 years of working knowledge/relevant experience within an IT department

3-5 years of experience in a budgetary/accounting role working with an ERP Financial System and strong financial acumen

Above Average SAP /ServiceNow / Excel / Power BI skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels

Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities

Liaise with various groups within the company including but not limited to Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, and Operations.

An Undergraduate Degree in Engineering, Finance & Accounting, Business, or equivalent, with applicable further development in Project Management would be preferred.

Lead on project controls support, including project planning, cost controls, schedule management, forecast and analysis, and closeout.

Minimum 5 years of financial project cost control, forecasting and financial analysis experience.

Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.

Experience with Oracle JD Edwards – Project Costing would be a definite asset.

University degree or equivalent experience in project management, project controls, finance, engineering, or a related field

5+ years’ experience in Nuclear, Project Controls, Project Management, and/or related fields.

Develops, implements, maintains, and promotes the use of industry proven best project management practices in the Enterprise Projects organization.

Establishes, communicates, implements, and reinforces project management standards.

May be assigned one or more areas of accountability including reporting, scheduling, cost management, and/or integration management:

Strong planning, managerial, and leadership skills.

Knowledge of cost/financial reporting systems and analysis e.g., forecasting, change management, metrics, Quantity Unit Rate Reporting)

Support efforts to re-cast project estimates into manageable cost control budgets per project requirements

Maintain or coordinate the project cost change management system (trending).

Experience with statistical analysis, or skilled in understanding technical processes, engineering drawings, quantity determinations, and mathematical and financial reports

Strong knowledge in project controls software such as EcoSys, SAP, and Oracle (or Oracle JDE) is an asset

Knowledge in capital cost estimating and services estimating

Experience with working with databases, data management, analysis and reporting is an asset

Assist in aligning applicable project control areas such as estimating, forecasting, cost, schedule, project change management, and reporting

General understanding of Project Management and/or project control techniques

Support the Project Manager and Project Controls team in preparing cost estimates and change orders for stakeholder and customer approval

Prepare monthly status reports for project and program reviews; provide feedback to project managers and the project controls manager

Requires excellent verbal and written knowledge of English in order to effectively communicate with the project team.

Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or equivalent is considered an asset.

Assemble and prepare preliminary submission and circulate within the project/department for initial and informal review.

Complete and formally submit submissions for the division in close collaboration with the project teams, project controls, and legal departments.

Liaise with relevant departments to address issues related to submissions or the process.

Track and support the resolution of any issues related to the contract requests with the relevant project

Elaborate and maintain reporting guidelines and related materials for MCPC and Board reporting

Review policies and procedures and recommend improved processes for project cost management.

Provide capital cost control, variance analysis and reporting requirements for multiple complex and multi-disciplined major projects.

Interpret project-specific business requirements and ensure alignment with Enbridge’s project lifecycle gating control processes.

Work closely with the PMO and the Financial Services department and liaise with other project stakeholders for project related responsibilities.

Minimum of 15 years broad and extensive technical, management and project experience

Detailed knowledge of scheduling methods, cost control processes, risk management procedures.

Demonstrated experience in use of document control and document management systems within a major project design capacity.

Team building, staff management and mentoring skills.

Make recommendations on change notices in compliance with best practice change management techniques.

Hire and manage Project Controls staff either directly or through the regions.

Deep knowledge/experience across the project controls disciplines of risk management, schedule management, document management, cost management and quality management

Experience using/working with P6, ARM and industry standard applications for Document Management, Cost Control and Contract Management is an asset

Manage the development and mapping of cross functional project controls processes to support the delivery of projects, including continuous improvement initiatives.

Substantial experience delivering integrated project controls support throughout entire project lifecycle (planning, procurement, implementation, etc.) and across various infrastructure types

Knowledge of business systems and the dependencies / integration of these systems in a project controls environment

Demonstrated experience integrating multiple project controls disciplines

Train the project team on how to implement and maintain the prescribed change management procedures.

Provide Aecon management team with all the required project controls summary reports and analyses.

Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees.

Assist the project manager in preparing project monthly reports and forecasting.

Good knowledge of the “Earned Value” principles.
