Works with suppliers to develop and write specifications for purchase and approval of all packaging components.

Knowledge of cycle management terminology and retail/product/ packaging development terminology an asset

Lead the planning and implementation of projects, including creation of process and implementation plans, business requirements, delivery, and go-live dates

Collaborate with lululemon internal business partners and manage external vendors to effectively roll out the project

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Leadership and project management experience also a definite plus.

Drive the development of evolving equipment standards through leveraging of our OEM relationships and our in-house knowledge base and experiences.

Deliver vertical start-up of projects using the Start-up Management processes for equipment including induced failure testing protocol

Start-up management concepts and commissioning

5+ years of hands on experience with packaging equipment and related technology.

3-5 years experience in an industrial setting and maintenance management considered an asset

Strong computer skills. Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge. Technical and problem-solving skills.

Supervise production workforce in Packaging Maintenance through team of managers

Assure compliance with labour contracts. Manage the relationship with the union where appropriate including discipline & grievances where necessary or applicable.

Coach salaried employees on their roles and responsibilities as well as developing employees through the normal performance evaluation process and cycle.

Thorough knowledge and understanding of the packaging process and maintenance related processes

2 – 5+ years of work experience in the packaging industry, preferably in an account management or inside sales role.

Strong leadership skills including building strong relationships

Strong communication skills (verbal and written; strong listening skills).

Strong judgement, analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions

Mastery with data management. Proven experience in design and management of project documents, including project charters, implementation plans and business requirements

Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, strategy, operations or related professional industry experience

Knowledge of cycle management terminology and retail/product/ packaging development terminology an asset

Mastery in project management tools and software, Smartsheet preferred

Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of SolidWorks platform and experience with SolidWorks Routing and Weldments modules.

• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.

• Establish design and operating conditions for equipment to be used in refrigeration systems.

• Confirm component selections: pumps, compressors, motors, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, control valves.

• Design routes and piping to refrigeration standards while permitting ease of manufacturing/servicing.

Interacting with Assembly houses and substrate vendors to achieve the most cost efficient design, meeting design and yield requirements.

Defining process and methodologies to improve layout efficiency.

Deliver a substrate layout for AMD products, probe cards and test vehicles on schedule and meet the design objectives.

Manage qualification of new packages or changes to ensure quality and mitigate risk.

Experience with advanced laminate (BGA) package design and assembly

Well-developed knowledge of thermal & electrical simulations, ideally Ansys Workbench and Flotherm tools

Superior communication and presentation skills and the ability to lead a small team as needed including mentoring junior engineers

Ability to think creatively to solve complex problems and offer cost-effective solutions

Excellent understanding of qualification standards and failure mechanisms in flip chip packaging

Must have 8.5+ years’ experience in packaging with special emphasis on Advanced Packaging

Experience with package routing and layout using Cadence APD or similar tools

Well-developed knowledge of thermal and electrical simulations, ideally Ansys Workbench,Flotherm.

Experience with Advanced Packaging concept and technologies

Experience with Advanced Packaging reliability, modelling and testing

Ideally has broad knowledge of 3D and heterogeneous assembly technology - HBM/CoWoS and others

Proficiency with data management. Demonstrated experience in design and management of project documents, including project charters, implementation plans and business requirements

Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience required

Knowledge of cycle management terminology and retail/product/ packaging development terminology an asset

Proficient with project management tools and software, Smartsheet preferred

· Report out to container management team on any packaging/packaging material issues

· Automotive packaging experience and knowledge of CAD is an asset

· Manage a team of corporate packaging engineers, located at various facilities

· College diploma in packaging program with a minimum of five (5) years related experience

· Computer literacy along with strong organizational and communication skills is required
