2 – 5 years of experience in operational risk focused on technology (application and/or infrastructure architecture, cyber security, cloud computing etc.)

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience

Experience in key technologies such as cloud computing platforms (Azure, AWS, Google) , Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence

2 years' experience in risk/fraud management, compliance, and/or underwriting.

Provide and present various reporting to management and merchant.

Bachelors in Finance or the equivalent in relevant experience and training.

Background with a rules-based risk management system.

Experience in financial services or other related industry.

Partner with the risk management team at Staples affiliates in the US as required

Prepare risk management and insurance budget

Manage and report on claims, including assessment of risks, review of costs and oversight of litigation as required

Manage the loss occurrence process, including gathering relevant data and liaising with insurers

Manage relationships with third party providers including the third-party claims manager and insurance broker

Own performance management processes including building dashboards, monitoring, diagnosing, and reporting out on key trends across Risk

Experience developing processes and policy + managing programs/projects

A passion for Risk teams, programs and policy; past experience preferred not but required

Lead development of Risk strategy and planning, which will increase operational efficiency and reduce exposure to fraud and defaults

Develop and refine policy for programs with significant customer and business impact

Lead cross-functional initiatives and strategy to ensure success of team and joint company goals

Establish policies and standards, create rules and guidelines for risk management.

Minimum 5 years of leadership experience, showing growth and responsibility.

Experience in data analytics and trend analysis.
