Minimum of 3 years of experience working professionally in post-secondary student services, including significant experience leading independent or team research projects

Language Proficiency – strong communication and writing skills.

The Scope Of Responsibilities Include

Research activities, such as conducting literature reviews, focus groups and writing reports and research proposals;

Experience in project management is an asset.

Experience with content marketing platforms, project management software, online registration systems, blogging software is considered an asset.

Raiser’s Edge database training and experience (similar Database Management experience may be deemed equivalent).

Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, YouTube analytics, Social Media management tools is required.

Proposes, designs and implements online contests in order to achieve communication goals. Ensures contests meets Mohawk’s legal requirements.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in communications / public relations role with special events and/or communications.

3 years of work experience in an Ontario Community College or Higher Education institution in a high demand client service environment

2 years of experience in international marketing and recruitment in education and in working with educational consultants

Must have working knowledge of overseas educational systems and admissions

Excellent knowledge of college programs and admission requirements

Recommends and implements new advertising campaigns, promotional materials and has a sound knowledge of CRM and online marketing.

5+ years of Project Management experience in a dedicated capacity of Project Manager  

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification  

Change Management Certification would be considered an asset 

Defining the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management and key decision makers 

Reviewing the project schedule with senior management and key stakeholders, including team members; revising the schedule as required 

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or a relevant combination of work experience and education 

Demonstrated experience in case management and supportive counseling.

One-on-one case management support with newcomer individuals and/or families, guiding them through their settlement process into Canadian society.

Maintain accurate, up-to-date records, including statistical data, enter data to relevant data management systems and create reports, as requested.

Strong technology and documentation skills to inform program and meet organizational and funder requirements.

Offer a full suite of settlement services at a variety of satellite sites with partnership organizations.

Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working one-on-one to provide settlement services to newcomers, including refugees.

Up to, and including, five (5) years of related work experience demonstrating in - depth project management skills.

A Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in a related field (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, Construction Technology) or equivalent experience.

Computer skills included MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel), MS Project, electronic file management.

Managing the change management process in co-ordination with contractors and consultants.

Determining project scope, meeting with project stakeholders and determining project requirements including schedule and budget.

Ensuring the College’s requirements and objectives are incorporated into project designs (including AODA standards).

Demonstrated experience in case management and supportive counseling.

Five years of experience using project management and instructional design expertise in online learning, eLearning, instructional design, digital resources related field.

Working with the Talent Management System Specialist and OD team to ensure content is compatible with Mohawk’s LMS including.

Work with Talent Management System Specialist, & Organizational Development Team to align programs within the Working at Mohawk System.

Project management courses or designation considered an asset.

Experience incorporating technology and media to enhance instructional methods and improve the learners' educational experience.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously using appropriate project management tools and techniques.

Demonstrated experience in case management and supportive counseling.

Experience working with individuals with mental health, substance use/addiction issues, physical health issues, who have experienced chronic homelessness, street involved.
