Junior Specialist It Network Jobs

An understanding of UniFi Controller service or Unifi Enterprise management.

$40,000 to $50,000 salary (commensurate upon experience)

Cater to requests from staff both at the main office and remote sites, received via the ticketing system.

Install and arrange software solutions like Kroll, PK Software, and FedEx Ship Manager.

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with employee equipment.

Oversee the maintenance of multiple servers, encompassing both physical and cloud-based systems.

Apply best practices in Incident, Problem, Change, Patch/Release and Asset Management in the scope of Network Administration

Strong knowledge of Cisco remote access solutions and TFA

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Tier 2 or 3 network administration

Strong knowledge of security infrastructure design (Cisco ASA, FirePOWER, etc.)

Hands on experience with Meraki networking or related technologies

Experience merging/integrating networks and working in environments with multiple manufacturers (Cisco, FortiNet, etc…)

Experience administering systems support for remote sites considered an asset.

Manage troubleshooting and trouble ticket escalation.

Access software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and “frequently asked questions” resources to aid in problem resolution.

Printing solutions experience on Ricoh, Canon and HP products.

A+ & Network+ certifications required. Cisco, Microsoft, and IT frameworks certifications are an asset.

Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, SMTP).

Good working knowledge/understanding and hands-on experience of Cisco Switches (Meraki), Palo Alto Firewall, Field Area Networks, Wi-Fi Aps.

Cambium P2P Radio Networks experience and knowledge is highly desirable.

Provides the senior skills required for day-to-day operational, Help Desk Incident resolution, and enforces policies and processes.

5-10 years of experience in network systems engineering or systems administration.

Hands-on experience of MS SQL database is highly desired.

Knowledge of Cisco Switches and Palo Alto Firewall is required.

Strong working knowledge and experience with a multi-site network environment. Including: LAN, WAN, VPN, MPLS, SD-WAN, and WI-FI

Assist with user identity and device management

Preference for IT-related Post Secondary Education or real-world hands-on experience

Evaluate and recommend necessary changes in security, performance tuning, infrastructure design, and monitoring requirements to meet business needs.

Assist with strategic plans of IT and IT network infrastructure plus operational aspects of application execution within infrastructure for business requirements

Coach and mentor team members to help with cross-training and knowledge gap closure

Deliver the training in accordance with the course Lesson Plan, using appropriate Adult Education techniques

Achieved the rank of Master Corporal or Sergeant AND a minimum of 3 years experience instruction in the subject area

Must hold a valid Cisco Certified Network Association (CCNA) Certification

Developing or revising lesson plans, instructional material, and training aids

Developing or revising courseware based on input from the Project Authority

Set up the classroom prior to the start of the scheduled start time

*Expert level trace analysis skills are a must

*Experience supporting a large and complex network environment, preferably with adequate operational hands-on experience

*Experience in exploring and implementing automation for Proactive monitoring and reducing incident resolution time.

*Deep technical knowledge for platforms and the way applications interact with the network are a must.

*The technical skills need to be wide and deep.

Important note: *Flexible with on call & rotation and shift timing

Analyze and document reported issues and outages - determine severity and impact of reported issues, and begin incident management process

Create and maintain documentation in the Service Management tool

Python, Andible automation skill will be additional benefit

Hybridmode: 3 days from the office and 2 days remotely

Document solutions into Knowledge Base articles to improve service delivery and quality
